Facilities Operations Assistant

Job Duties:
Expected to adhere to campus, state rules & regulations. Follow task instruction from Head Grounds Supervisor. Work in team effort and independently in a timely fashion. Required to learn and use small & heavy equipment properly. To include but Not limited to tractors, trucks, mowers, snow plows, etc. Mows lawns, top soils and seeds lawns, and use trimmers when needed. Hand weeding as needed. Removes snow, applies ice melt to campus roadways and walkways. Shovels when necessary Keeps campus free from litter and debris. Operational Needs:
Must be physically able to perform the duties of the position Valid New York State driver's license Record of dependability and reliable work record

Salary Range:
From $31245 to $36715 Annually
Minimum Qualification
There are no education or experience qualifications for this class. Applicants must be physically able to perform the tasks of the position and be able to understand and carry out written or oral instructions. When required to operate motor vehicles, incumbents must possess a valid New York State driver's license appropriate for the type of vehicle being operated.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
